The annual Qingming Festival is coming again. My father and I went back to our hometown and our aunts to go to the crane garden cemetery for grandparents to sweep the grave.

Xianhe Park Cemetery is located in Yulin City West, us more than 20 minutes to get to ride a motorcycle. Entering the gate of the fairy crane garden, it seems to be in the fairyland, where the trees are lush, the birds are fragrant, and before a row of neat and clean tombstones, we have already been filled with the people coming from us. On the stage, they were filled with offerings and flowers, incense burning and firecrackers four.

We soon found the tombstone of grandma and grandpa, put the pre prepared supplies, put up tea and wine, lit the fire, and the tomb sweeping ceremony began. First, the adults bring the paper money, the paper TV, watch, clothes, radio and so on, and burn them to grandma and grandpa one by one. Then, we kneel in front of the tomb and kowtow to grandparents, tell Grandpa and grandma, we come to see you and bring you gifts and food, please be used. At last, it burned firecrackers, sprinkled tea and wine in front of the tomb, and looked at grandparents' affable pictures in the tombstone, as if we were standing in front of grandparents, looking at their loving eyes, listening to their teachings to us...

The grave was over, we reluctantly left the Xianhe park. Grandparents, every year today, I will come to visit you.

On Saturday, we went camping, with our teachers. First we pitched the tent. then our older brothers and older sisters played game with us. But some of the boys were so noisy we couldn't fall alseep. I only slept for three hours. the next morning, everybody woke up very early. After exercising in the morning, we all went to see the small pigs. On the way there, we saw a lot of geese. At 10:00, we went back to eat ice cream. It was so cold. then, we all played games together. We ate lunch at 12:00. In the afternoon, we played musical instruments and sang. After that, camp was over. We had a lot of fun at the summer camp. I am looking forward o going to another summer camp soon.

After I finished high school, although that story like most of my writings ended up unfinished and stayed in the bottom of my desk drawers, I enjoyed and made fun of my writings when I read them later. Now I am a college student majored in engineering who studies science and math everyday. In the mean time, I am trying to bring my first book to an end. I have been always thinking why we couldn’t take our dreams into our own hands. I would encourage everybody to find ways to live their dreams, whether on a small scale – like my writing of a novel – or a bigger scale, like going after a job we have always wanted. I am living with part of my little passion, in my own way.
